General Questions

1. How do I log in to the learning management system (LMS)?
A. You must create a new Learner Account to gain access to the LMS. Once you have received your registration confirmation email, you can log on to the LMS at any time to access your program and courses. If you need assistance with login details, check your email for the original welcome message or contact Ziiva technical support at 540-777-5621. Support hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. The “My Training” page displays all currently enrolled programs and courses. Click on the program or course link to launch.

2. What internet browser works best with the LMS?
A. Most internet browsers are compatible with the LMS. However, it is recommended you use Chrome, Edge, FireFox, Brave and not Safari. We also recommend turning off any ad blockers or pop-up blockers for the website for optimal performance.

3. How do I report a technical issue with the LMS?

Account & Profile

4. What should I do if I forget my password?
On the main LMS page click on the “Forgot username or password?” link to retrieve your username or rest your password. If you are still unable to log on, please contact Ziiva technical support at 540-777-5621. Support hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

5. How do I update my profile information? After logging on to the LMS, learner profile information can be updated by clicking on the “My Profile” tab from the top tool bar. You can update your profile information and password. If you experience difficulties updating your profile, contact Ziiva technical support at 540-777-5621. Courses & Enrollment

6. How do I enroll in a workshop or self-paced program?
After logging on to your learner account, click on “Register for Courses” tab from the top tool bar. You will be redirected to the Program registration offerings for webinar and traditional workshops as well as self-paced programs.

7. Once I have logged on how do I access course materials?
A: From the “My Training” page click on the program or course link to launch. All course materials, including the syllabus and lecture notes, are available within each course under the “Course Content or “Related Content” tabs which can be accessed from the left navigation pane. 8. How can I track my progress in the course?
 A: The LMS automatically tracks your course completion progress. You can track your learning progress from the “My Transcripts” tab from the top tool bar. Click on the Program or course links for specific information on progress. If you encounter any issues, please call education support at 835-204-7739. 9. How long do I have to complete a post learning assessment and survey after a live webinar or traditional workshop concludes?
A: Learners attending a live webinar or traditional workshop have 72 hours to complete the post learning assessment and survey, upon conclusion of the event, to meet requirements for successful completion and be awarded continuing education credits.

10. How long do I have to complete a self-paced program?
A: Learners have six months from the date of registration to complete the self-paced program, including post learning assessment and survey to meet requirements for successful completion and be awarded continuing education credits. 

11. How do I complete Program evaluations?
A: Before earning your certificate of completion, all learners are required to complete a post learning assessment and evaluation. This feedback helps improve future course offerings. Evaluations are automatically available after you finish all course requirements. If you encounter any issues, please call education support at 835-204-7739. 12. How do I access my certificate of completion?
A: Once you have successfully created a learner account and completed all program requirements, including any required post learning exams and evaluations, your certificate of completion will be available for download from the “My Transcripts” tab from the top tool bar. Click on “View Certificates” link to view or print Certificates of Completion.  If you encounter any issues, please call education support at 835-204-7739. Program Enrollment & Withdrawal

13. Can I withdraw from a self-program after enrolling?
A: Withdrawals are not permitted once a program is launched. If the program has not been launched and you decide not to take the program, you are eligible for a 100% tuition refund minus administration fees, within seven (7) days of registration. Please call education support at 835-204-7739 for assistance in withdrawing from a program. 14. Can I withdraw from a webinar or traditional workshop after registering?
You may cancel registration up to 72 hours prior to a live webinar or traditional workshop for a 100% tuition refund minus administration fees. If you need additional assistance with enrollment or withdrawal, please call education support at 835-204-7739. 15. How do I contact my instructor?

16. What should I do if I want more details about course content?
A: If you are seeking a deeper understanding of course content, access the How-to Series from the registration page for options on additional tutorials and evidenced based resources for the most requested information (not applicable to all content). You may also wish to email the program faculty with any followup questions. All faculty contact information is posted in the course syllabus.

Assignments & Assessments

17. Do I need to take an exam to complete the Program?
A: All self-paced programs and some workshop programs require a post-learning exam to assess your understanding of the content and meet requirements for successful completion to be awarded continuing education credits. Advanced clinical skill programs (e.g. POCUS) also require a return skill demonstration for successful completion. All course details, including passing requirements, are outlined in the course syllabus. Be sure to review the course materials thoroughly and complete the exam readiness checklist before attempting the exam or return skill demonstration. Most programs allow two attempts to pass the exam or return demonstration. 18. How do I submit an assignment?
A: Courses that require written assignments should be submitted through the designated submission dropbox within the LMS. Be sure to follow the instructions provided in the course syllabus regarding assignment file formats and submission deadlines.

19. What file formats are accepted for assignments?
A: Written assignments should be submitted as a word document (*.docx) and video assignments as an MP3 video file. Be sure to follow the instructions provided in the course syllabus regarding assignment file formats and submission deadlines.

20. What happens if I miss an assignment or exam deadline?
A. Please reach out to the course faculty via email for options available to you. All course faculty contact information is posted in the course syllabus. You will receive an email response within 24 hours.
